My administrative clean-up did cause the problem, sort of, though it actually revealed an existing issue. So far as I can tell, this happened to you and you alone because your primary membergroup has been set to phpBB Moderator ever since the move from that software. Since this was your primary membergroup, and not an additional membergroup like it is for everybody else who's a mod (even Cloudschatze, who is a Global Mod like you), you actually haven't had the permissions of a regular member for years, you've had all your permissions (even basic ones like access to normal boards and replying to posts) solely by virtue of your mod status.
I'll explain this in greater detail in private to all the mods, but the short version is that the correct solution seems to me to be to change your primary membergroup to regular member, and then make phpBB Moderator and Global Moderator your additional membergroups to bring your account in line with the norm. The upshot is you should now have the permissions you are used to back. The only change for the moment is that you won't have a tag under your name that says phpBB Moderator. Ultimately it's supposed to say Moderator (like it did previously for those members), but for some reason due to my clean-up, all Moderators are now tagged only as Senior Members, though I have confirmed that they still have the moderator permissions on their designated boards (or everywhere, for the two Global Mods)--look, for example, for a (Make Topic) Sticky button at the bottom of a thread on a board you control. I have to go to work now but will investigate that little quirk with the tags when I come home.*
Sorry about the inconvenience. This is a relatively drastic overhaul that violates all "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" good sense, but if you'd seen the disarray of the admin settings, you'd understand. When the overhaul's done, it will make future changes simpler.
Nevertheless that means in the meantime, issues like this are bound to crop up despite my best efforts, so I urge people to notify me of any problems they encounter. (Mods should read the message I post to them, first.) I have a dummy account I use to test things, but even then things can easily slip past my notice, especially since while I'm logged in as an Admin, I always have every power and so during my usual browsing I can't tell that anything's different with the board.

* UPDATE: This problem with the tags--which, contrary to my rushed remarks this morning, only affected Global Mods and not all Moderators--has been adjusted.
