This page is for anyone with an original Sierra musical arrangement who wishes to share their work with others. This is not designed to be a competitive format, but rather a place to enjoy the creative work of other Sierra music fans. No matter if you've composed for Yamaha XG, the Roland MT-32 or Sound Canvas, Creative AWE, or any other music sound source, your sequences are welcome here! MP3's are also allowed providing the files are linked to your server.
Requirements for posting your music on this page are simple:
- The music must be in a format readable by others -- MIDI files are preferred.
- Selections must be rearrangements, not simply existing Sierra soundtracks remoxed with different instruments.
- MIDI file size cannot exceed 100 kb. MP3 size is unlimited.
The quality of your music will not be judged by Quest Studios! As stated previously, this is not a competition. You'll need to provide information as to what format the music is designed for (Sound Blaster, GS, generic General MIDI, etc.) as well as any other information you'd like to offer. The more known about the music, the better. If you're interested in having others hear your Sierra arrangements or would like additional information about this page, write me at: tom@queststudios.com
- Flight To Washington (Code-Name: Iceman)
By Mark Seibert. Arrangement by Quest Studios. I just felt this catchy progression needed more, and it presented an enjoyable opportunity for a new arrangement. - Sierra Soundtracks - Part One
"Medley" by Christoph Sachal. A medley of old and new themes from popular Sierra game titles. Designed exclusively for Yamaha XG playback. Requires a quality MIDI file playback program capable of reading embedded System Exclusive data. - Sierra Soundtracks - Part Two
"Medley" by Christoph Sachal. More from Chrisoph focusing on Gabriel Knight and Police Quest arrangements. Designed exclusively for Yamaha XG playback. Requires a quality MIDI file playback program capable of reading embedded System Exclusive data. - The Catacombs Of Jerusalem - Metalized
By Brandon Blume. A strong metal guitar arrangement of the music heard while exploring the catacombs of Jerusalem in Conquests Of Camelot: The Search For The Grail. - A Hero's Quest - Part One - Roland GS
A Hero's Quest - Part One - MP3
By Tom Lewandowski. One of two arrangements based on the first four Quest For Glory adventure games. Originally sequenced for playback on Sound Canvas GS MIDI cards and modules. The MP3 version was recorded from the original GS version. - Quests Of The King
By Tom Lewandowski. One of my very first MT-32 sequences. This song was never completed, and it lacks a lot of the MIDI techniques I've since learned over the years. Quests Of The King was a personal interpretation based on my experience with the first three King's Quest AGI adventure games, including the very first PC (bootable) release of King's Quest. There was no MIDI support in these original releases, so I decided to create my own MIDI interpretation. - King's Quest VI Opening Theme
By Dustin N. An arrangement based on the King's Quest VI adventure. Designed for playback on the Roland MT-32 Sound Module. No patch bank required. - Roger Wilco: Ace Janitor (& Galactic Hero)
By Tom Lewandowski. A rearrangement based on the very first AGI Space Quest adventure. Converted from the original Roland MT-32 sequence for playback on Sound Canvas GS MIDI cards and modules. - Quest For Glory Theme
By Christoph Sachal. This song utilizes some functions and instruments of the Yamaha SW1000XG but most of it is done by samplers. Basically it´s not MIDI anymore, but real instruments. Approximately 8 MB's. - Rise Of The Dragon
"Karyn's Home" by Matthias Doering. An arrangement of the theme played while visiting Karyn's home in Dynamix's "Rise Of The Dragon" adventure game. Sequenced using the Roland Sound Canvas 8850 but suitable for playback on virtually all GM devices. - Rise Of The Dragon
"Blade's Home" by Matthias Doering. An arrangement of the theme played while visiting Blade's home in Dynamix's "Rise Of The Dragon" adventure game. Sequenced using the Roland Sound Canvas 8850 but suitable for playback on virtually all GM devices.
PLEASE NOTE: The selections on this page were designed for specific sound devices. See "About Our MIDI Files..." for more information.
