This page was designed to allow a comparison of more advanced MIDI features found on today's synthesizers and modules. The MP3 samples below were recorded on various synths and modules using Roland's "Allstars" GS MIDI song file. Although "Allstars" is a GS song file, it utilizes all General MIDI capital tones during playback. In some cases, the recordings have been "tweaked" for optimal performance.
